Your Art is worth sharing!

Do you think your work is not 'good' enough to share?
Then see if you can ignore this thought. Cross the line, at the end it is only a thought.

I did the course because I was getting frustrated with my lack of growth Encaustically. I have really enjoyed this Basics course in so many ways.
The biggest thing for me has been recognising that frustration can be turned into determination to succeed. Practice is the key and it doesn't matter how many times you go over the same thing, we all develop at different rates. It is particularly important to me to know I have this course at my fingertips for the rest of my life.
I have loved learning all the different techniques and surprised myself with the Tissue work. The first Tissue one I did I have shown on the Wall of Art,if you look carefully you can see two little Deer at the bottom under the branches. I loved it.
I can't wait for the next adventure.

'I love this course! It was so much fun and very inspiring and I have learned so many new techniques that help me to express my inner world more and more. Through this course I have worked on self-acceptance, relaxation, finding my own ¨muse¨ and to keep playing. Thank you so much Michael for this beautiful course!'

'Thank you very much for this great online-course! As I never had art or drawing lessons before, I learnd so much about perspective, light, colours, distances and bringing life into a landscape. It was so helpful to have the possibility to watch the videos again and again and build up my landscape step by step. So I am able to work on bigger cards now!'

'I am so glad that I decided to take this course. Michael's calm voice and wonderful demonstration really helped me to gain confidence in using the iron. The inspiration galeries were helpful in sparking my own imagination and to remind me to just let go and have fun.'

I've just finished the Frame Stamps course. As ever, it far surpassed my expectations. It is full of inspiring ideas; creativity everywhere. I guess I try not to copy the art exactly. The fun really starts as you learn to adapt Michael's designs.

I enjoyed the course very much. Everything was easy to understand and
well explained. It never felt like work, but more like playing, like experimenting.
I think I learned a lot and now I feel well prepared to go on experimenting on my own.

'I have just completed the Improving Landscapes course. I have learned about depth, composition and how to do detail, and much more besides. This course is easy to follow although not so easy to apply, that takes a lot of practice. Each piece I did I could see improvement from the Image before. Now the learning really takes off as I do more and more different pieces. I have especially learned about colour, making sure you have the correct colour is vital. I had a problem with skies, then realised I was using cream not white. This made the skies greeny and dull. Lesson learned. All along I have been inspired by Michael as he encourages you to see around you and discover your landscapes and what works for you. I have really enjoyed this course and look forward to applying what I have learned to my work.'
